DAY 1: An encounter with whales and dolphins offshore in the Basque Country

DAY 2: What about learning to cook during your holiday?
Learn how to make the iconic Gâteau Basque by taking part in a bakery workshop organised by the Gâteau Basque Museum in Sare. After that, you can enjoy an equestrian adventure on the old smuggling trails between the village and its Spanish neighbours with local horse-riding schools.
DAY 3: Unwind in the natural landscapes at
St-Jean-pied-de-Port!
Go for a ramble and a yoga session while soaking up the beauty of the landscape, in tune with your feelings, unless you fancy learning how to play Basque pelota?
DAY 4: Fishing in the Aldudes
The Nive River and Basque mountain torrents irrigate the Aldudes Valley where the atmosphere is similar to other mystical, world’s end destinations, such as Patagonia or British Colombia. Torrents, Fario trout, professional service providers if required, in short, everything you need for a successful stay.
DAY 5: A dugout Hawaiian canoe on the Bay of St-Jean-de-Luz
Sheltered by the sea walls which protect the Bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, a dugout canoe is the best way to discover the bay, catch “Chipiron” or enjoy a magnificent sunset.
DAY 6: Potholing in
the La Verna Cave
The site of La Verna has always been associated with the discovery of La Pierre Saint-Martin cave network. It is one of the largest underground cavities in the world and can be discovered in relaxed fashion or in a more athletic way for potholing enthusiasts.
